If I had my life to live over, I would start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall. I would go to more dances. I would ride more merry-go-rounds. I would pick more daisies.”~Nadine Stair.
It is Friday bliss list time. Liv Lane’s idea for the bliss list is by sharing, we can help uplift each other. Some weeks I have a harder time reaching a place of “bliss”, but I can find many things to be grateful for.
Things I am grateful for this week:
1. The wild daisies are blooming…in the fields and along the roadsides. They bring beauty and joy in unexpected places. It is fun to imagine the summer fairies sprinkling daisy seeds everywhere, like little bits of flower sunshine.
2. A friend invited me for lunch at a restaurant with an outside patio beside a lake. It felt so good to laugh, catch up and just enjoy the gorgeous summer day.
3. My son came home to visit with his 9 week old puppy. I soaked up lots of puppy love. I forgot how much work puppies are…which is why they have to be so cute! Ollie like to sleep in the strangest places. He tries to “fluff up” the hard shelves he chooses to sleep on. Such a goof. Meet Ollie…
It is almost July 1st! Lunch with my friend reminded me to take time to play, to enjoy summer weather and the many lakes in Minnesota. I am going outside now to “pick some daisies”.
Have a beautiful weekend. Play, enjoy, soak up summer!
Blessings, Nancy

Was it the movie You’ve Got Mail where Meg Ryan’s character says “Daises are a friendly flower.”?
Is Ollie Lucy’s son? They are both so cute.
Hi Patti. No, Ollie is not related to my dog Lucy, but they look a lot alike! Lucy was really good with little Ollie, who is very bitey right now. Ollie went back home now, so Lucy has been soaking up extra lap time. I love dogs. Nancy
Ollie is adorable! I really enjoyed your quote. Thanks for including it in your bliss list.
Hi Tori.Ollie is a cutie… Blessings, Nancy
What an awesome week. I was just noticing all the flowers in bloom along the roadsides yesterday. They were so beautiful!
Hi Michele. Yes, it is gorgeous this time of year.
